About this Site
To all of you who found my work years ago and asked if I had a website, and I said, "It's coming soon!", THANK YOU for your patience and for continuing to reach out to buy my jewelry, even though I didn't have a very streamlined process to actually sell it to you! Ha!
While this site felt like a giant, overwhelming task for my not-so-techy self to take on, I have to say that it IS getting more fun now that it has really come to life. I hope that you enjoy the little uplifting tidbits I've sprinkled across the bottom of every product and every page. I aim to make this site feel a little more meaningful than your average online shopping experience; if you find a treasure AND wrap up your shopping feeling a little uplifted and inspired... yay! |
Photography
I don't pretend to be fancy.
Every photo on this site was taken by me, with nothing more impressive than my iPhone.
Yes, the quality could be better with a fancy camera and a professional photographer,
but I'm a firm believer in doing what you can, with what you have, where you are.
I'm not holding back and I'm choosing to not worry about being judged.

Fun Fact:Guess what the chippy wood background surface is in most of my photos!
THAT is the well-worn-by-my-family-and-friends, totally unique, rustic floor of my home! There is one special spot in front of the glass doors between my dining table and my living room, where the light comes in just right mid-morning for taking photos. You can find me sitting on a throw pillow on the hard floor in front of that spot, hunched over with an iPhone, a tray of jewelry and a big mug of tea. (I thought I'd share a real glimpse of my routine, just in case you were picturing some glamorous operation.) My now-teenage children probably rode something with wheels over that very spot. They probably (definitely) spilled food, beverages and art supplies on that very spot. Wine was probably spilled at a party on that very spot too. Every day I walk over that very spot, to head out to the deck and enjoy our mountain views. That spot was not store-bought for a certain aesthetic or chosen to look like anyone else's aesthetic; it is literally the foundation of layers-upon-layers of love and life in the home we built... And like us all, it's perfectly imperfect. |
From my home to yours...truly!
